I have been to a number of South Asians groups on meetup, and I always here people tell me they wish there was a group for people born in he US. The Desi Network was a group of Young South Asian professionals (Ages 23-33) who would get together every week for drinks, food, and conversation. We have been doing this every week like clockwork for years and decided to once a month give out an open invite to other young South Asian Professions looking to meet new people, build a network, and or just talk about movies, music, and current affairs. Some of us are doctors, engineers, bloggers, radio DJ's, and more.
